I am really really struggling to find my style and a way to make my room feel like a warm safe cozy place. My vibe is kind of eclectic, earthy, mid-century ish.
Is this green horrible? And should I just repaint it with the awful gray it was before?

It definitely clashes with everything else. You could make it work if you add other decor items/bedding with the same color and maybe others colors like the orange or cyan in your posters and neon pink/purple.
I think it’s not working because it reminds me of ketchup mustard and relish. I think it’s ok to do a funky green but maybe ditch the yellow? Or if it were me I’d do a rich emerald green which would go well with the bedding as well as the dresser
Why neon green? There are thousands of colors to choose from that aren’t neon green or gray.
It isn’t horrible. But the rest of your decor is not balancing it properly. You need bright eclectic colors. Bright greens, blues, yellows, etc. Curtains, pillows, and wall art are places to add more color.
I think it’s the wrong shade of green. Something more mossy/earthy would go better with your stuff
I personally adore the color but it doesn’t match the style.
If you like it, then it’s ok. I think a large abstract picture with bright colours would work
