So I purchased this bedframe in October and waited until I moved into my new apt to set it up. Welllll it sits incredibly low. I’m regretting it so much because I really wanted the Article version for $1100 but didn’t want to pay that much. I purchased this one for $430 and I should have just splurged. It is very low profile..too low for I think someone who is 32… I could add feet but I don’t even think that would help. I still want it to look chic but I’m running out of ideas. Any advice? It currently sits roughly 14” from bottom to top of mattress.

are you raw dogging your pillow or is the case being washed or something

  2. Also to note, I just moved into yesterday lol. It hasn’t even been 24 hours so nothing is set up.

I would add another platform under it if you don’t want feet. You could do a light wood, white, or black.

Could you set it on top of something sturdy like a basic metal bed frame from a mattress store and put a skirt around it to hide it? Even without a skirt it might not look weird to put it on top of another frame, maybe even a wood one, since it has no legs. Bottom line is it would need to be able to support the weight of the frame shown here. Or maybe just cut your losses, sell it online, and get something taller.

I understand that if you elevate say like kitchen cabinets bed nightstand etc it makes the room appear larger…..

Add feet for sure! I think it’s cute and cozy but just need a littleeee height! I always rate under bed storage too

Consider a minimal concealed frame that creates a ‘floating bed’ effect. Plenty of pictures and frames available online.

Get a divan base with side storage drawers and put it on top.
