Hi all, I’m new to posting on Reddit, but this seems like a great community 🙂
I’ve recently started to get more into wine. I already drink it regularly and enjoy trying different types, but I would love to understand more about what I’m actually drinking.
+ I’d also like to start collecting (I just bought my first cabinet 😁)
I recently picked up a Côte de Nuits-Villages Aux Montagnes. I asked a sommelier in a wine bar in Korea, and he recommended me this as my first bottle.
He told me it’s hard to get (is this true?) and I can age it for a few years. Whether it’s true or not, I have no clue 😅
I currently use Vivino and Wine-Searcher, but I feel like I’m just scratching the surface.
I would love to know what other sources, tools, or general approaches you all use to learn more about wines (especially rarity, quality, and collectibility).
Any tips would be really appreciated 😊
Thank you everyone!!🍷
