I found this old ass wine in my dads cellar.. thought I was doing him a favor drinking it as it was all dusty and he so much wine that’s fresher.. anyway the wine had a taste of leather dark fruit and almost earthy.. (maybe it was til old?) it became super approachable after a while in the glass and went well with the veal cheeks, which I braised in a similar bottle I found. Served with soft potatoes and reduction of the cooking liquid
