Refined and elegant with still an intense core of crunchy fed fruits (red cherry, cranberry, raspberry) and matched by high acid, and medium silky tannins. Complex notes of forest floor, bark, wet gravel, matchstick, and cola, followed by very well integrated oak notes of toasted wood, cinnamon, clove, cigar box, leather, and tertiary of dried leaves and mushroom. Slight umami edge to a long red fruit led finish. At its peak to drink now, but could hold up aging another 5 years given concentration and acidity.
