I’m wondering if I should remove it or try to work this room to coordinate better with it. I really do love the couch, but I just feel like it doesn’t work well with this room. Any recommendations?

I’d keep the couch, but make the rest of the room less beige. That way the couch feels more at home and your living space becomes a bit livelier.

I would change the curtains to a more organic linen and put those pull down blinds that are brown in there as well to give it depth. I would also change the carpet to something that incorporates more color with splashes of the same green you have in your couch. Then I would put a tall tree between the couch and the door to separate the entry area

One could argue that the green couch is the only thing in this room that should be kept…. And the ottoman. Everything else is too beige and matchy matchy.

Absolutely not, get more green and maybe some warm fall brown shades

I wouldn’t get rid of it tbh green couches only look “off” when nothing else in the room ties into them. Once you add even a couple small things that pick up that color (pillows, art, rug), then they suddenly look amazing.

Right now it just needs a couple things that tie into that color so it doesn’t feel random.

No!!! Do not touch the green couch. Walk away from the couch!!!! 💚💚💚

Add some colorful pillows to the other couch.

I would keep it and reduce some of the beige from other things.

I like it, but bring it INTO the room instead of against the wall

Yes, I’ll send you the address of a place you can ship it so you don’t have to see it anymore… 😃

The green couch is the only interesting thing in the room. Lean into that, not away.

    Noooo!

It’s the only color you have.

Add some green pillows to the other couch.

I would make the green couch the ‘main couch” by switching it with the other couch if you want to save $. Otherwise I think you should still put the green couch beneath the stairs and get two neutral chairs where the green couch currently is and put green throw pillows on the chairs. You can continue the theme with a couple of the following; a new rug with a small amount of the green in it, more throw pillows (?), vases, planters etc…

Just tie it in with the other things in your room,

I’d switch positions of the two couches and add some green curtains to match your couch then make sure to put something green in the other corner where you’re standing

I like the green better but you need to pick one or the other. They’re different styles so it looks like a furniture shop.

More green and some rich blue tones.

This feels like an awesome opportunity with plants!

Even if you can’t maintain them and go with fake ones, they’ll feel more lively and together in a natural way.
