I hope you like this silly comic I drew.

What makes a wine interesting to you as opposed to just good?

My friend (who admittedly knows a lot more than I do and owns a small vineyard) throws this term around.

A wine , grape or wine making process that I’ve not had before.

For example, last night I had Schmelzer’s Bicolor; an Austrian wine made with Weigelt (705) and **Welshriesling** (30%)

    I don’t think I’ve had Welshriesling before.

The wine was light red, a little bit fizzy(ish), good fruity nose.

    So … Interesting.

    (I suck at description)

I like wines that show terroir. pretentious? Yes! But i like wines that show a sense of place.
