I'm trying to hang art above my dresser and worried this is a little too small? Dresser is 40 inches wide and painting is 25 wide x 20 tall. (I plan to mount a small display case for perfumes so that's what the other tape on the right is for)

It could be ok. Needs to be moved to the left a bit.
Is it possible to have 2 perfume display cases-one each side of that painting?
Unless you’re going to have something to the left of that picture this feels like it’s going to look awfully unbalanced.
If it’s just going to be those two items I’d try sliding them both to the left a bit so the overall visual encompassing the two pieces is more centered over the dresser but that’s me
