1 Half wall column. It separates the areas, but still leaves the space somewhat open. Also, you can place some plants, ornaments or something on the half wall to further separate the space and add some interest.

1. I’m an architectural designer working on getting my architecture license in the States and open concept design is slowly fading and separation of rooms is making a comeback. I think creating some separation with that half wall is ideal.
