This was fun! Off the top, most impressive thing was that the acidity was still there and zipping. Sweetness was in control and paired well with the acidity, to make it very enjoyable but still not more than a glass or two type wine.
The nose was incredible, still had some fruit, honeycomb but also that petrol note. I did not know what to expect re:petrol but when it’s there you know.
I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Quick note – bought it from caubleist .com – Ian does a fantastic job selecting wines. Cheers to you if you’re out here!
Last fall I finally opened a 1989 JJ Prüm from the same vineyard. Great wine, though not as much acidity as your 1990.
I haven’t yet tried properly aged Riesling, what sort of notes develops with long-term aging, I just assume you get more honey-esque notes?
