This is a play space for a toddler and adults to sit around. How can I make this space look better . Opposite the table is a kids kitchen not pictured . On the left of the seating is a large dining area . I'm not sure what to do here as I don't want to get rid of the recliner. Any ideas are welcome.

Unify with color. Find a washable rug that works with the chairs to designate the area. Replace the storage ottoman with something in tones that coordinate with the rest of the furniture.
I think it being in the center of the open concept is weird. How open would you be to pulling the “tv living room” area closer to the center and then zoning all the play stuff by the windows?
