Been trying to get into more European wines so went to a free tasting at a French wine shop here in Houston and loaded up!

-Sancerre Rose: My first rose from Loire Valley and definitely has more minerality than those from the south of France

-Dentelle Rose: light, dry, peachy, strawberry

-Dentelle Dry White ‘23&’25: cant remember which year I tried but should be fun to compare both

-Crémant Rosé: fine bubbles, very elegant, light strawberry notes

-Roussette de Savoie: lots of crisp, mineral acidity. Made from Altesse grape, which I hadn’t heard of before

-Lunatique Pinot Noir ‘15 & ‘16: single varietal Grenache with strong warm spice notes. Excited to do a side-by-side of these with friends.

Anyone had these or any thoughts?
