Another 375mL estate sale bottle of dubious provenance for $4. Base of neck fill after 55 years.
Cork: miraculous intact ah-so pull
Appearance: medium tawny
Nose: pronounced tertiary with wet leaves and leather. Also a hint of vinegar but in a balsamic wat
Palate: medium acid (acetic), fine (silty? powdery?) tannins, light body, medium+ tertiary mushroom/moss/forest with a loonnnggg finish
Overall: I convinced three of us to drink this and honestly, it was better than expected, but I’d still rather squirt lime in my eye
