Super-boutique Napa Cab, tiny production, basically impossible to find unless you know the guy. I’ve been lucky to follow it from tank to bottle over the past couple years. Early on it felt like everything was cranked to max, almost Harlan-level intensity. Now it’s settling in and coming together in a really nice way. Nose is the wild part: Smoked plums (yeah, in a 2022!), tons of blackberry, with a bit of leather already showing. Palate follows through, dark fruit, a touch of savory, solid structure, and way more composed than it should be this young. Not your typical Napa Cab at all… Made by an ex-Ghost Horse / Anderson Conn Valley winemaker, direct-only, super under the radar. Recommended!

P.S. Front + back labels on IMGUR, couldn’t figure out the gallery upload here, sorry…
