Seeing all these amazing projects on this subreddit makes one humble.. I do some amateur woodworking every once in a while when I got time and this piece took me multiple tries to be strong enough and aesthetically pleasing. I made this piece from a leftover piece of plywood I bought at a second hand wood store and used a technique called kerf bending to bend the wood into this shape. First I tried making kerfs on the table saw but this removed too much material. Then I switched to a cone shaped router bit and that worked beautifully.

That curve came out super clean- hard to believe it’s plywood. The lighting underneath makes it look even better, really nice touch.
Honestly feels like something you’d see from RS Studio – you can check out their lamps too, they’ve got a similar warm, modern vibe.
