Okay – last go of this. The center bottom area will be filled by a stone water feature currently being made by an artisan, so it's empty for now. Books are in sections – philosophy, poetry, anthologies, reference materials, cookbooks, general fiction, and so on. How does this read to you now? The way this reads now is really cohesive – categorizing by section rather than just color or size gives shelves a reason to look the way they do. The empty center bottom actually reads well for now too, creates a natural focal point ready for the water feature to land into.
Curious about the artisan water feature – that detail is going to anchor the whole unit once it’s in. What material is it being made in?
