Hello,
I’ve recently stumbled upon 5 bottles that my grandma has kept for years in her underground cellar. I wanted to have advice on what to drink now, what is passed its prime and what can be kept even longer.
My understanding is that the Chaumes, Sauternes and the Jurançon are all reputable sweet wines that will be great to drink. I’m more curious about the 2 Alsace wines – are they dry or sweet ? Are they cooked ? I couldn’t find much about the producer, nor for the Riesling Mamberg name (is it the same as Mambourg cru ?)
Thanks for the advice – I’m listing picture from an app with the photos I’ve added myself
