One of those ‘worth it’ moments. Such subtle power.
Before a 2hr decant, there was already a lot going on in the glass. Tight perfume, red apple skin, orange oil, sandalwood. After the decant, so much more. Rich, soft redcurrant and Doris plum fruit and more of that apple skin acidity and smooth tannins.
As for the finish, I basically didn’t want to put anything else in my mouth for several minutes.
