Please help me choose light fixtures!
I am seriously struggling to make a decision on light fixtures in this space. There’s a long and wide hallway that will double as a “lounge/hangout” space for my kids in front of their bedrooms, this connects to a mudroom/laundry room space, there is also a small space that needs a light fixture in front of a built-in wardrobe but, as you can see from the photos, the placement is VERY tight. I feel like all of the lights need to be the same or similar as the space is all connected?
There is also no natural light in the area outside of what will come from the exterior door in the mudroom (not installed yet, but it will be an almost full length glass paneled door). I am trying to find something that isn’t going to read as trendy, something that won’t quickly be dated, but am having a hard time. The analysis paralysis is very real. I plan on having lamps and under cabinet mounted lighting, but these ceiling fixtures will be the primary light source for the space.
The X’s on the paper represent where the lights will go. In some of the images I circled the spots for lights in red.
I did clean up the images because there was a ton of dirty laundry, a litter box, a gymnastics bar and much more junk in them and I wanted to be able to just focus on the space, but if that’s an issue I can post the originals, I just thought the mess would be distracting.
PLEASE help. This is holding up everything else and I’m so sick of it 😩🙏🏻
