Need some ideas or a starting point for decorating this open kitchen/living room (foreground) layout.
The gray kitchen cabinets are what's throwing me off. I've always wanted a cream or beige sectional in the living room, but don't know if that would work here. Any ideas in terms of style, texture, color palette, etc. would be very appreciated!

I actually think a cream or beige sectional would work really well here. The gray cabinets are pretty neutral so warmer tones in the living area would balance it out nicely. Just maybe add a textured rug and some wood accents so it doesn’t feel too gray overall. The space is really open which is nice
