I cannot change or pull up carpets and this is the only dining area. room gets great lighting from windows just a dim photo. issue at hand is Id like to keep this couch for the time being as well as the table. kids need to eat at this table/counter has bar stools for eating as well so i need something fairly washable (currently thats my old ruggable as a temp solution) do i just put clear vinyl under there? round washable rug? will it look weird to have a rug under the couch and one at the table? any room layout is fine. was going to try and avoid tv over fireplace
