Previous owners have a TV above the fireplace, not a fan. But where else would you put a TV here without a couch being 15ft away or having a floating couch right in front of the fireplace?
Only option I can think of is TV against left wall and a L couch on the top right. TV would obstruct hallway path just a little though.
