Flooring guy just left from giving us a quote to replace this ugly dated rose colored tile, and I’m super excited EXCEPT I now have to actually suck it up and pick out a replacement tile. The hold up is our pecan wood floors! All of this was custom for the previous owners, and I’ve come to loathe the yellow of the floor.
Ive put some neutral tiles against the wood, but I don’t love any of them. Any color ideas or type of tile?? I’m usually decent with colors but am at a loss against these wood floors.

I think you should go with a rich color to offset the wooden floors. I think a neutral shade will look generic/plain and make the wood look more washed out. I’d go with whatever color is primary in the adjoining rooms. If a lot of blue accents, do a deep blue tile, etc. I’d lean toward mid century tones or jewel tones
