Sorry for the really rough sketch… I have this living room layout and the house I'm in is rented and came with the furniture. There is this really awkwardly place pillar that is making it hard to arrange the tv and couch. I want to arrange this to maximize extra space (I was thinking of possibly putting my desk in here or maybe an upright piano but it feels so cramped. Since I cant change the furniture (and honestly couldn't afford it anyway) I have to work with what I already have. Any layout suggestions?
