I discovered this gastronomic cidre (cider?) at a 2 star Michelin and it was a revelation.

Very rounded palate, perfect balance between the acidity of the apple and the richness of the tart Tatin. Very small bubbles. A lovely, long, very dry finish. Light years from any cider I've had (I'm talking producers' cider, not commercial crap for teens, obviously)

Served with pork filet mignon, carrots, potatoes and apples, an absolute banger.

5.5 alcohol, in the 15 to 20€ range. A must have in my book.

That’s a fun diversion. Nice to see the prices are still somewhat reasonable.

It is wonderful, and the pear cidre he does is even better.
