The bathrooms in my new house are super blah. Everything is in good condition so I don’t want to go ripping things out and doing a whole remodel. I’m thinking just to give it a facelift by painting the cabinets and installing gold hardware, maybe putting up some wallpaper, and replacing the mirrors and vanity lights and faucets. I’ve got this process underway with my other two very boring bathrooms, but stumped for ideas on what to do with this one. I can’t figure out how to work with all this gray tile, or if I should just suck it up and replace the tile.

Anyone have a vision they can lend me?

The tile would be difficult to replace, but the flooring less so. It doesn’t really go with the rest of the bathroom anyways.

Imo the shower has a cool gray, so probably better to stick with silver fixtures. I’d opt for a white, grey, blue palette and maybe go for ocean waves or something for the wallpaper.

One of the best bathroom decor advice I’ve seen recently is to decorate like any other room. Get a big rug (washable and non-slip). Add wall art, baskets (or whatever), candles, mis-matched containers for toiletries, lamps/sconces. Stuff like that. So it feels more cozy. And take the focus away from all the gray.
