Nose of red and black fruits with light wood, spices, coffee, dark chocolates, earth and light barnyard.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with black currants, black plums, earth, light oak, spices, dark chocolates, light tar, vegetables and peppercorn.
Medium minus in length on the finish with fine grained tannins, and tangy raspberries.
This 16 year old Barolo from the great 2010 vintage, is drinking very nicely now. Soft and elegant. Complex and interesting. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 45 minutes of airtime.

Will not get better from this point on, but will continue to drink nicely for a while.
I had the 2018 a couple of years ago, and it was too young.
A good food wine that paired nicely with my pizza.
