Tantalus is one of my favorite BC makers of both sparkling wines and rieslings, because they produce incredibly lean, steely wines that balance fruit with generous acidity.
This bottle was exactly what i was hoping for. In the glass it was golden with a hint of rose. The nose led with apple, and the attack was screamingly dry cherry lemon cider served over crushed rock. The acidity was singing, the finish was clean, and I’m devastated that this was my only bottle.
