2019 Pinot Noir from Willamette Valley, 12.9% alc.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about them and finally getting around to trying it and… wow, really good. So fresh. Red fruit — cranberry, raspberry — tight/tart.

On the palate it’s more of the same with some spice, tea leaf, a little bit of umami, and that savory mineral edge and some salinity. Very smooth. I’m writing this after having it open for 45 min. I bet it’ll get better throughout the night.

I’ve got their Chardonnay and will be trying that for the first time in a week or so. Cheers!
