First time posting here, I've been quite enjoying beaujolais recently, so share my notes here:
Nose: cassis, smoky blueberry, mineral, cherry, cinnamon, a little honey, and an early mushroom note.
Palate: surprisingly light-bodied for Côte du Py. Medium, high acidity. Tannins are super smooth — basically only grab the tongue right at the very end. Lots of red berry / raspberry.
~2 hours later
fruit shifts riper/darker (less pure red berry)
smoke + spice dial
Next day
Honestly better: tannins even silkier more mushroom/forest floor, toffee
Also used to had 2021 and 2022 Morgon, feels like 2021 is more smoky and spice
