I loved this wine, my first try of Cab Franc from France and I’m really impressed. I’m still figuring out tasting notes, so beginner here — Dark fruits on the nose and something almost like rubber or iron and spice. On the palate I found it really nicely balanced with enjoyable length that didn’t fall off in any particular direction. Much more savoury than fruit. Saline, mineral notes, almost something meaty. It’s such a different style of wine than anything I’ve had before. I’d really appreciate other recommendations — this was a great suggestion from my local shop.
