I’ve booked a table at a local wine bar on Friday and would love some recommendations on their reds. The prices are all in GBP.
The domaine du pelican is jumping out to me, we are celebrating so don’t mind splashing out a bit but I’d also be interested to know where the value is.

That’s a great list. You can never go wrong with the Tempier Bandol. Truly delicious wines that never miss. Bold enough to hold up to a steak or hearty meals, but refined enough to not overpower any lighter dishes. It’s got great fruit and spice and it’ll surely impress.
