Steakhouse wine after a day at the poker room. We also had a 2022 Black Chicken (delicious).
Steak was pretty bad, wine was pretty good, poker was pretty medium.
Crushed berries and stewed plums. Slightly floral. Quiet at first, but blooms nicely. Silky smooth in the mouth and pleasant, following the nose. Prime drinking time for this wine, it seems.

Congrats on the wine!
I had a bottle of 2000 a few years ago and it set me off to dig into the Lebanese wines a little. Couple good producers there.

That’s the perfect descriptor, I would have said the same thing about the 2000.
We didn’t even decant it, just let it develop slowly in the glass over a couple of hours.
The biale black chicken is pretty nice with steak too!
This is one of my top favorite reds for sure. When i discovered their Rosé (which is amazing imho) it led me to their red. Just a shame with the pricing though as it felt like it went up like $10 every year since i discovered it. (Paying $75+ for a bottle of wine is a HUGE expense for me these days lol).
I absolutely adore Musar in whatever iteration it comes in
