The estate's almost two-hectare monopole, Clos de la Barre stands out for its aromatic richness and fabulous mineral breadth.

On the nose, we're fascinated by the chalky tension of limestone powder, which stretches out to offer a fine concentration of orange peel, poached pear, yellow plum and lime blossom.

The palate is satiny and enveloping, with a depth of fruit that gives it energy and fine flavors of citrus zest, white pepper, lemon curd, dried nuts and toasted almonds. The finish, with its tension and liveliness, continues on a fine acidity marked by lemon and ginger.
