I’m a big fan of Chardonnay and I’ve been drinking Coppola wine for years. Most notably I love the Diamond Collection Chardonnay, but my favorite is definitely the Director’s Cut.
I went to my local Grocery Outlet and their wine buyer was working and highly recommended I try a Viognier because I’m such a fan of Chardonnay. I was open to try something new, plus after I saw it was a Coppola wine, I went for it.
I knew it would be great before I even tasted it. Sure enough, it tastes fabulous. Slightly grassy, mellow, lightly floral and citrusy with a tart green apple aftertaste.
I’m really impressed the quality of Coppola wine. It’s the only brand of any celebrity wine or alcohol for that matter that I think is truly quality. I understand a Viognier is very similar to a Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc but even so, it got me to branch out try something different on my palette.
Does anyone have any other suggestions for this Chardonnay lover who’d like to step outside and try other white wine alternatives? 🙂
