I painted the trims blue (pic 4) and went full steam ahead on the windows. Now I’m wondering if I f-ed up? Should they remain white like on the left, or do I continue with the blue? If the latter, I’d paint it all blue, but the windows are getting refurbished this spring so I’m holding off paint until then.

White it keeps the room brighter and feels more timeless.
White looks better to me. It makes the
windows look bigger and will reflect/bring in more of the natural light. The blue makes the windows feel a bit suffocated to me – I personally am not a fan of color drenching, which I know some really like.
Blue for certain
Blue, the curtains do a lot of heavy lifting to brighten the place up, the white windows take it too far.
