This is a favorite artwork of mine by the artist Hannah Yata. I am currently renovating most of my 1200sq ft home and will be painting every wall. I'm wanting to use colors from this artwork since I like this palette. I do have a framed print of this that will be in the living room above the mantle. I've never painted a home before so am learning as much as I can, but can anyone suggest some color tones from this piece of art that would be good interior paint colors?

My living room is 13ft by 18ft so kind of small, but has vaulted ceilings so feels quite open. There is not a ton of natural light. The ceiling will be a tongue and groove wood with a lighter stain. I'm thinking of painting the walls a muted green color, like October Mist I've seen online, or maybe the Evergreen Fog or a Sage of some kind. There is a fireplace in the living room that is a dark red brick.

Any opinions on this, or any other colors from this art that may pair well with a smallish space and a wood ceiling, or could be good colors to paint the hallway and small bedrooms?

I know much of this depends on my specific space and my tastes, but just wondering about things maybe I should avoid or look out for when picking swatches.

One thing I recommend when trying to choose paint colors is to order large pre-painted samples from a site such as Samplize.
They are a better option when testing colors than the small pots, which are messy, and are not the best way to test colors, according to many interior designers.
The green colors you mention sound like good options, if you grab some small paint chips or even a fan deck you can hold them up to the painting and see how they coordinate with it.
