On the palate this off the bat showed serious complexity not your average Nz sauv blanc , tangy tropical fruits, citrus, pineapple, definitely feels like sancerre and nz had a baby this was fabulous bracing lip pucker acidity but at 14% abv 94 points

the producer (famille bourgeois) also make wine in the loire valley; they make some wonderful sancerres and pouilly fumes
