These are the remnants of my overseas cellar. I can only bring three back duty free. But which three? The others will need to be consumed in the coming weeks.

If they ask you to pay duty on the other two bottles, it will be minimal. They don’t know the value of the bottle, and it probably isn’t worth it to collect.

Doesn’t exactly sound like a sad story.…but a great why to leave a country. I’d bring home the La Chapelle, Biondi- SantI & the Monprivato.

    Tig 16, Mascarello, Lynch Bages.

Those would be my instinct picks.

The Brunello is one of the great vintages from a great producer and should not be left behind. It will still last a couple decades in the cellar. Another big plus is that it is going for about $800 a bottle – enough to buy all the others if you sold it.

These are all fabulous wines and a couple have enough age to be very nice. I would go for the Barolo as my second choice and lay it down for 8-10 years. Next the Lynch Bages because I love Bordeaux and already chose two Italians.

This is a can’t make a mistake question.
