Ha! Autocorrect went with “wine dejection”, which largely fits.

It seems these posts are helpful in learning if any of these wines should be tried. (Sam’s is a big-box bulk store like CostCo but is Walmart owned. Store is in NW Florida, USA; prices are USD.)

If it matters, I’m a noob, but whites that i liked are Pinot Gris/Blanc/Grigio, fume blanc, white Bordeaux; reds are Beaujolais, Syrah, Pinot noir, gamay, Grenache.

Best wines I’ve had are Chauteau Neuf de Pape and a red gervertztraminer (sp?), and my go-to “nice” wine is anything from Louis Jadot.

Caveats: I don’t have a very refined sense of taste and smell due to a head injury, a crazy bout of rhino/orbital/cerebral mucormycosis (which I don’t recommend), and the resulting surgeries to repair.

Thanks in advance. Sorry to go on so.

Nothing standout, but some decent quality picks would be the Jadot Beaujolais-Villages, the Catena Malbec, and the Hess Allomi. Mostly mid tier wine here, but those would be my picks.
