Drank from a magnum.
A wonderful birthyear bottle!
Won this off auction and it was in excellent condition, save for a slightly faded label.
Brought it to lunch at Ristorante Allegria after a wonderful tasting experience at Burgess.
This was ready for business, gave it a quick decant, primarily for sediment.
This has all the hallmarks of well-aged Napa. Leather, tobacco, cedar, maybe cigar box?
But still a lot of fruit, with dark cherries, plums, and blackberry.
Some dried herbs as well.
This is in great drinking condition and can likely last a while longer, at least in magnum format.
93 points.

Good call out on the magnum. I’ll need to recalibrate my search on a magnum.
Nice bottle for lunch haha
My favorite vineyard from Napa valley. Got the 2018 in my cellar and wait until its ready to drink!
