In contrast to the last bottle, which had some unpleasant brett/VA that never quite shook off, this half bottle was in great condition.
I love half bottles, it allows us to just enjoy a single glass each without a Coravin or committing to a full bottle.
Gave this a half hour decant, probably could use more, but already enjoyable.
Picked up dark plum, blackberry, dark cherry, chocolate, slight balsamic.
Balanced acidity and tannins.
Drank well on its own, I imagine it will go well with food as well.
