Hi guys

I’m hosting a wine tasting evening for 4 of us at my house in a few weeks.

I’m looking for a champagne to try; something new outside of the main ‘brands’.

One option I’ve seen as something that might work is a bottle of Christophe Mignon – budget can be 50-100£.

I’d love any recommendations of producers you have tried and really like.

If anyone’s interested, we’re going:

Champagne & nibbles (salted crisps, cheese twists)

Bottle of Pino Noir (pic attached)

Chateau Leoville Poyferre (pic attached) with Steak Ragu

Cheers y’all!

Champagne comes in many styles. What style of Champagne are you looking for? You can give an example of a Champagne you’ve enjoyed previously and you’d want something broadly similar.

For a salted crisps+cheese twists situation i’d probably go with a crisp and refreshing blanc de blancs champagne who’s acidity should pair well with the snacks.

Those are 4 great grower options within your budget that i could find quickly:

    [ Etienne Calsac Les Rocheforts 82 GBP](https://hedonism.co.uk/product/etienne-calsac-les-rocheforts)

    [Agrapart Terroirs 70 GBP](https://hedonism.co.uk/product/agrapart-blanc-de-blancs-terroirs)

[Pierre Peters Cuvee de Reserve 55GBP](https://hedonism.co.uk/product/pierre-peters-cuvee-de-reserve-0)

[Laherte Freres Nature de Craie 60GBP](https://woodwinters.com/product/laherte-freres-nature-de-craie-blanc-de-blancs-1er-cru/)
