Yeah kicks ass if you have enough of it. 8th glass will definitely be better than the 3rd though

It absolutely is. It’s somehow from Burgundy, but also California. It’s magic

My grandparents drank this with every meal as I can remember. They never had much money, and wine was part of their culture with meals. My grandfather valued volume and low cost. When I got into wine, I remembered this passing by in a store and decided to try it. One glass, never again. I realized how lucky I had it, with many available options significantly better.

Around a camp fire 10/10. The chicken wing method of consumption is highly recommended.

I use it when making mulled wine for a party. It gets the job done, tastes pretty damn good with a few cinnamon sticks, and most people aren’t snobs about spiced, warm wine. It’s great for cold Midwestern winters.

Quality shit post. I love that no matter where you go on Reddit, Reddit is still Reddit.

I actually don’t hate the sangria.

On the rocks, yup

It was drinkable when I was 23 and broke as a joke. Wouldn’t be my go-to if I had better options, but if it was that or nothing else and I had a hankering for wine…yeah sure.

Is Carlo Rossi good wine? No. Is it bad wine? Also no. It is exactly what it presents itself as. It’s wine as a simple beverage, a commodity. It tastes like generic wine and it costs less than $20 for 4 liters of it. It’s the kind of wine that’s meant to be drunk from those little Italian wine glasses with sharp corners and no stem. The kind of wine whose place on the table is equivalent to the salt and pepper shakers. There’s a place in the world for Carlo Rossi, though most of the people on this sub will turn their noses up at it. I don’t drink it but I respect it for what it is.

Jokes aside, what does this taste like? I don’t think they sell it where I live.
