This plain wall (first pic) is driving me crazy and I really want to add a bit more warmth and cosiness into the kitchen but I don't know what to do with it. I wanted a shaker peg (second pic) but without the shelf part to add some baskets and hang a tea towel off and a clock above but the larder door to the side only has a 3cm clearance once opened. it houses the boiler and a lot of my cleaning stuff so I'm often in and out and any boiler service it would need to full open. I was thinking a shaker peg I could take off the wall when the boiler needed servicing, but still don't think something in the way of a door isn't great.

I know the obvious answer is a print or a clock but I wanted something to add more warmth and texture into the kitchen and I already have a lot of prints. There's print round the corner of the fridge too.

Two photos of the rest of the kitchen so you get an idea of the rest of the space.

thank you!
