We just moved in and I’m feeling a little lost. I know I want a rug but if so, which colour? Leaning towards a kind of brick shade wool rug. What else would help enhance this space? Thank you!
I would not do a brick shade rug because I think it’ll be too close to the wood floor color. What if you did some pretty wallpaper on the nook where your bed is? Like the short walls and the small angled ceiling?

I think a light blue, soft yellow, or olive green rug would look nice. It would add a pop of color without being distracting. Sconces might work better by the bed rather than the table top lamps. Then invest in some nice quality bedding because that’s what is going to take up the most room. Making the bed properly is a simple way to elevate the space.
