I recently updated my den and was really interested in doing a color drenching. I had so much fear and also excitement when I started, mainly thinking others will judge or disapprove. It is a lot I will admit 😆 but I think it looks pretty cool ( or rather hot like cayenne!) and it is a joyful enveloping space. I painted the black & white piece of art over the fireplace and wrote over and over “not for the faint of heart” and let the words stream down.
I know in true color drenching the doors are also painted the same but I tried it and it was too much so I went back to white.
Anyway it’s just paint so if I’m a year I’m sick of it, I’ll repaint it something else. Maybe viridian green next time!
