We stained the floors and they came out so much more red than we thought! We are doing white cabinets and a tan/beige color scheme through the house. They are adding another coat of stain tomorrow and the final coat of polyurethane. Is it worth re-sanding and staining it more brown like we originally wanted? It does look more red in the pic than in person but this is my first house and I really want to get it right. Is there a way to tone down the red with a different stain or anything? Will it look okay all done up when there’s light fixtures/decor and couches/rugs? Second picture added so you can see the space. Living room/kitchen area. Lots of natural light… Ideas welcome, please help!
