This was a white wine, made from what I believe to have been a direct press or Cabernet Franc and Malbec that I opened a few days ago. At first it was rather blanc and delicate tasting and over the past couple of days it has undergone a noticeable oxidation while capped to have become a nearly amber/orange looking wine. It also tastes noticeably oxidized, which is quite nice actually just as it was nice before but perhaps not as interesting as it is now. I’ve heard of white wines from red grapes spontaneously turning red but never amber or orange before. Curious as to if anyone has any comments on this effect?
