Apart from posting this picture I actually don’t have a lot to say that I havent said a year ago, I guess. I’ve waited for months for the furniture to arrive. I’d say the interior part is almost done, but I still don’t have curtains, haha. The ceiling is like 5 meter high which makes finding curtains quite the impossible task. A challenge for sure.
Now I tried adding some warmth to the loft by leaning towards warm minimalism with the interior. Also some japandi in there. That might sound like I’m an expert but I’m just a single dude who googled interior styles and went with what I liked, haha. But I do like how it came together. And yeah the walls are kinda empty. Still no paintings or art because I’m kinda picky, but that might change soon tho!
Alright, have a nice day and let me know what you think!
Some info I posted a year ago: *The loft you are seeing is one of the lofts in one of the oldest Philips factories in Eindhoven. This factory is where Philips (sort of, not quite) originated, and where Anton and Gerard Philips invented i.e. the lightbulb (sorta) and the radio (sorta). Later Philips would invent the cd (sorta). I’m from Eindhoven (sorta) and we’re all very fond of Philips.*
*Well now this loft is VERY industrial, which is awesome but does come with some challenges. The building has been renovated, obviously, since it used to be a factory, but as you can see the windows and (high) ceilings are still as they were back in the day. The hallways are very impressive as well. If you want to google the new stuff: Anton gebouw in Eindhoven!*
*Anyways. The windows in the front of the building are very high (4m) and wide (9m) and because of that there is a lot of light, and also, there are a lot of metals because of the old industrial stuff. Also it came with an industrial style kitchen. This is super cool I think, BUT I did want to add warmth to the appartement.*

Top gedaan!

Where did you get the media console? I’ve been looking for something long and low like that for a while now.

i love the furnature and the arrangement. Also huge kitchen. the old factory vibe with the concrete ceiling and open pipes is a moodkiller. look at that cats face: thats my face; “why human, why?” But I understand that its hard to put up something like tiles because the windows almost meet at the ceiling.

Does it smell of tobacco?

Those ceilings are wonderful, but at this time of year aren’t you a little chilly?

What energy label is it with those huge single pane windows? Heating it must cost a bit @ this time of year.

That is a gorgeous apartment. I would love to live in something like that, especially when it snows outside.
With all those windows I can’t imagine the heating build can be fun.
Can people from outside see into the windows?

Could only dream about this. If you don’t mind me asking: what did you pay for this in your location wherever you are?

It looks truly amazing, but I always wonder when I see a large expanse of floor-to-ceiling single pane windows: how much do you spend on keeping the place warm?

ITS SO PRETTY
Hi! A year ago I made [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/RoomPorn/comments/11oe6vf/i_bought_an_industrial_loft_in_an_old_philips/) post and I figured I’d update it with a new pic!
